Happy Friday, lovelies! Every year around this time, we all get the fall style bug where we want to buy all the cozy knits and boots! There are just certain pieces that are quintessentially fall. But 5 in particular come to mind!
Ok first things first. Y’all know we need to set the mood for fall with the perfect scent, and for me that’s none other than Leaves from Bath and Body works! But there are also so more amazing fragrances from Bath and Body Works that I love to set the scene for fall!
If you haven’t realized it already, I’m kind of obsessing over boots right now. I mean I usually love a good boot for fall/winter, but this season I’m in love with the newest styles. They pull a little from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, which are incredible decades for style! So I’m going to need to step back and take a few breaths before I buy them all! Check out these red boots in action here!
3. Knits, knits, and more knits
We’re to that point where the wind has a bit of chill to it, where we wake up and realize it’s time to bust the jackets and knits back out if only for the early mornings and late evenings. Everyone wants to get cozy and cuddly!
If you’re in a warmer climate like me, thin knits will be your best friend! They make you have all the good autumn feels while still keeping you from getting too hot. Obviously cooler climates may be able to bust out the cable knits beforehand. But like I said in my transitional clothing post here, it’s always fun to pair chunky sweaters with shorts or mini skirts before the weather gets too cold.
4. Dark Lips
I’m a fan of red and pink lips year round, but when fall comes around, I love busting out the oxblood. I mean who doesn’t? This rich color is perfect for the season along with chocolate shades and berry tones! It’s no surprise some of my favorite colors are part of the Maybelline Creamy Matte Collection that I rave about constantly like here, here, and here. So I’ve rounded up some shades I’m sure you will swoon over!
5. The Perfect Accessories
Is it just me, or do certain accessories just scream fall time? I know I start busting out my scarves, felt hats, and faux fur pieces because layering on the accessories is half the fun of dressing for colder weather!
