Spring Workwear

Spring is right around the corner and with it comes some fabulous fashion launches and new trends. If you work in a corporate office or have a business dress code, it can be hard to find ways to express yourself. So today I’m talking all about spring workwear!

But trousers are an office staple and spring offers some fun, fresh ways to spice up your wardrobe. I’m in love with these check pants from H&M (similar here). They have the cutest blue piping down the side and are a nice straight fit. They also have a semi-elastic waist that makes them pretty much feel like wearing pajamas. With pants like these, you’re bound to have a good work day! Besides adorable check patterns, you can choose from bright florals (classic spring) or polka dots (super trending for spring 2018)!

Spring Workwearย Since the weather has been pretty drab, you’ve probably been in booties or black pumps with tights for a while. And though I love myself a cute bootie, I do look forward to when I can show a little skin without freezing my toesies off! These hot pink crocodile pumps are one of my favorite vintage finds ever! They’re super fun and oh so comfy! Instead of choosing the standard black or nude pump, why not venture out with some fun ones like these? They’re bound to bring some sunshine to your day even when the weather won’t cooperate.

And speaking of noncooperative weather. You’re definitely going to need a good transitional jacket to complete your spring workwear look. I decided to add a bit of edge to my outfit by throwing on my faux leather biker jacket. It’s a sturdy enough fabric to add the needed warmth for chilly mornings without being too heavy. The cropped fit works perfectly with these trousers but would look equally as good with skirts or dresses. Opt for a black one like I did or go all out on a blush biker jacket (it’s on my want list for sure!) If biker jackets aren’t your thing, remember a good trench coat absolutely never goes out of style and is the perfect transitional piece!

These are my tested and approved ways to bring a little spring pizazz to your workwear coming into the new season! Happy shopping, folks!
