Have y’all seen the movie, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? Well this dress is kind of like the sisterhood of the traveling dress. I wore it as a whole size smaller. I wore it pregnant. And now I’m wearing it postpartum.
I adore the fit and cut of this dress! The V neck is really flattering and it hugs the body right until your natural waistline and then flares out. I find that this style of dress is pretty universally flattering. The print is so, so fun and this window pane design is a nice alternative to a classic plaid or check. And just like this dress for Monday’s post, it’s a throw on and go type of dress. It really speaks for itself and to be honest, those are the easiest for this mama right now.
To take this short sleeved dress into fall, I decided to pair it with these awesome burgundy combat boots that remind me of these MUCH more expensive ones from Louis Vuitton, a felt hat, and a black mini bag with fur detailing.
I’ve been really into the combination of dresses and combat boots. The contrast of feminine and masculine make for a super interesting outfit with minimal effort. Win win!
